Dietitian Nigeria does not replace a qualified healthcare professional, medical facility, or emergency medical service.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or using services on the Platform.

If you are under the legal age required to independently use a particular service, you should use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, or legally authorized adult.

Healthcare professionals and clinics must provide truthful and accurate information about their qualifications, professional experience, services, location, and areas of practice.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of Dietitian Nigeria may require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for all activity conducted through your account.

You agree to:

Professionals are responsible for ensuring that all information published on their profiles is accurate, complete, current, and not misleading.

Professionals must not falsely claim qualifications, certifications, licenses, professional memberships, experience, specialties, or services that they do not possess or provide.

Dietitian Nigeria may request information or documentation where necessary to verify professional credentials or profile information.

A verification badge or verified status, where provided, does not mean that Dietitian Nigeria guarantees the quality, outcome, or suitability of a professional’s services.

5. Professional Responsibility

Dietitians, nutritionists, clinics, and other professionals using the Platform are solely responsible for the professional services they provide to clients.

Professionals must:

Provide services within their professional qualifications and scope of practice.
Maintain appropriate professional standards.
Protect client confidentiality and personal information.
Provide accurate and responsible nutrition information.
Comply with applicable Nigerian laws, regulations, and professional requirements.
Maintain any professional registration, certification, or license required for their practice.

Dietitian Nigeria is not responsible for the professional advice, recommendations, treatment plans, nutrition plans, consultations, or services provided by professionals listed on the Platform.

6. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer

Information provided through Dietitian Nigeria is intended for general educational and informational purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nutrition plans, dietary recommendations, articles, forum discussions, messages, and other content available through the Platform may not be appropriate for every individual.

Users are responsible for providing accurate information when booking an appointment and for attending appointments at the agreed time.

Professionals are responsible for managing their availability and honoring appointments they accept.

Dietitian Nigeria does not guarantee that a professional will be available, accept an appointment request, or provide a particular health outcome.

8. Payments and Fees

Certain services on Dietitian Nigeria may require payment. These may include professional consultations, subscriptions, featured listings, sponsored placements, products, or other paid services.

Dietitian Nigeria does not guarantee the effectiveness or suitability of any nutrition plan or health recommendation.

14. Articles, Educational Content, and Forum

Dietitian Nigeria may publish articles, educational resources, questions, answers, and community discussions relating to nutrition, food, health, and wellbeing.

Such content is provided for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as individualized medical advice.

Information obtained from other users, forum participants, or third-party contributors should be independently evaluated and, where appropriate, discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.
